Cross Country Meet

The kids and I went to Tanners last cross country meet at Arcadia park. We brought a picnic lunch and some play toys to entertain us while we waited. But there was so much going on and to look at that we were not bored.

Tanner ran a PR and felt really good about his race. It was very fun to watch him. Here are some photos.

Dia De Lus Muertos!

Last night Gil painted my tummy.  I was thinking a Halloween moon and witch.  He came home with this idea.  I think it turned out so pretty.  Teo's comment was, "Dad, that is going to take forever."  Yes.  From previous experience, I know that I'm in for a good 1-2 hours, but it's always worth it.  I love watching Gil paint on my tummy as his canvas.

Our new bed!

We splurged and got a KING size bed! Last night we slept on it for the first time and it was lovely. I didn't even know Gil was there! Plus, because we got a tempurpedic, it doesn't bounce when someone rolls over. Very hard decision to make, but I'm so glad we did it.

Trunk or Treat

What a fun night! We were finally able to dress up for Halloween in the same theme. Everyone participated! This is one of our favorite holidays.

Cousin Sylvia was able to join us this year.
