Teo made homemade candy canes out of beads and pipe cleaners. He really enjoyed doing it. And then he decided to sell them by having a candy cane garage sale. Here he is doing homework while he waits for patrons. Bee was his first customer, but then she wanted an immediate return. She didn't want to give up her money. In the end he made $10.

Hollywood Bowl

During the summer, the Hollywood bowl does a child's musical program of world music. Each week is a different location. This week they were spotlighting Indian music and Bollywood. Your ticket included making a craft and then, watching a musical performance. I thought it was a great experience and a great show. Next week is African music, maybe I'll buy tickets.

We ended by walking next door to a little park for a picnic. Our friend, Judie, made homemade bread and shared some with us. So good!
