Hollywood Bowl

During the summer, the Hollywood bowl does a child's musical program of world music. Each week is a different location. This week they were spotlighting Indian music and Bollywood. Your ticket included making a craft and then, watching a musical performance. I thought it was a great experience and a great show. Next week is African music, maybe I'll buy tickets.

We ended by walking next door to a little park for a picnic. Our friend, Judie, made homemade bread and shared some with us. So good!

Mason Park

We found a new park to go to this year in Chatsworth called Mason Park. It had a great splash pad plus s regular park if you don't want to get wet. It also had a nice grassy area for a picnic and lots of shade. Definitely a place to go.

Verdugo pool

This is our community pool in Burbank. A little expensive, but the kids had fun.

For 30 min before the pool opens, they each have a private swim lesson. Then we eat lunch outside in the park and then go back in to play when they open. We are done by 2 pm. Then home for naps. Pretty fun summer day.
